Overview

US Oncology Network-wide Career Opportunities is seeking an experienced Full-Time Nurse Clinician to join our team at Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest and most comprehensive provider of cancer care. As a Nurse Clinician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of delivering the best cancer care possible.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient care with internal and external entities to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Triage patient calls regarding treatment and symptom management, providing timely and effective support.
  • Oversee patient compliance and adherence to oral chemotherapy regimens, ensuring optimal treatment outcomes.
  • Assist in patient education and follow-up after initial chemotherapy regimens, promoting informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement IKM chemotherapy regimens, ensuring personalized care.
  • Manage electronic and call-in prescriptions, as well as narcotic and chemotherapy refill requests, maintaining accurate records.
  • Communicate lab results and scan findings to patients as needed, ensuring timely and effective care.
  • Support the Medical Assistant staff with disability and FMLA paperwork, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Serve as a liaison between physicians, outside resources, and the infusion suite, facilitating effective communication and care coordination.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education.
  • Minimum two years of nursing experience required.
  • Nurses with OCN certification are eligible for OCN Incentive Pay after 90 days of employment or upon obtainment of certification.

Requires sitting/standing for extensive periods of time with the use of hands to finger, handle, or feel and arms to reach or carry. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 lbs. Requires corrected vision, color perception, and hearing to normal range. Requires legible handwriting.
