Job Summary

New Perspective Senior Living LLC is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Health and Wellness Director Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our senior living community, you will be responsible for overseeing the health and wellness programs, ensuring the highest level of care and quality of life for our residents.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement health and wellness programs that cater to the diverse needs of our residents.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and residents to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure exceptional care.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, vendors, and community partners to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care and services.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Current and unencumbered registered nurse licenses for the state in which the assigned communities are located.
  • Experience working with and directing programs serving older adults in senior living, long-term care, home health, or other healthcare settings.
  • Several years of relevant work experience in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Ability to anticipate and solve problems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to proficiently utilize a variety of electronic devices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and inspire and motivate teams.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evening and night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
