We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician II to join our team at Fleet Services by Cox Automotive. As a key member of our mobile fleet maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing certified DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on a variety of heavy-duty trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform certified DOT inspections and preventative maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and trailers
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and other systems on heavy-duty trucks and trailers
  • Conduct light and follow-up repairs, as well as scheduled dedicated work on various customer fleets
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, and sales teams
  • Work independently and manage own daily schedule, prioritizing tasks and making effective judgments
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Valid driver's license and meet Cox Automotive Mobility minimum driving qualification standards
  • Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one prior to employment or within 72 hours of hire
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Power Technician on medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair or equivalent combination of technical education/certifications/skill/experiences
