Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Operations Specialist to join our team at Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston.

About the Role

The Administrative Operations Specialist will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Operations team, including event planning, procurement, and facilities management.

Main Responsibilities
  • Administration (30%)
    • Supervise reception operations, ensuring excellent customer service.
    • Coordinate supply orders and distribution.
    • Maintain accurate records, including vendor information and audits.
    • Support internal event planning and execution.
  • Finance (50%)
    • Process invoices, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reconciliations.
    • Assist with budget development and manage departmental expenses.
    • Facilitate procurement and vendor selection processes.
    • Manage contracts, ensuring compliance and implementation.
  • Other (20%)
    • Provide backup support for facilities and respond to emergencies.
    • Partner with stakeholders to identify needs and develop solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree with relevant experience in customer service, operations, logistics, or hospitality.
  • Leadership experience or supervisory skills a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and computer proficiency.
  • Organizational and time-management skills, with ability to multitask and prioritize.
What We Offer
