Catering Attendant Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Catering Attendant to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a Catering Attendant, you will be responsible for delivering and serving food at scheduled functions, ensuring the accurate execution of all events during your shift. This role requires strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and deliver all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations.
  • Log and maintain food temperatures.
  • Arrange tables and decorations.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests.
  • Thoroughly clean location after event is completed.
  • Return food and beverages, serving equipment and utensils to catering facility.
  • Distribute and collect customer comment cards for catered functions.
  • Stock, clean and maintain catering facility and equipment.
  • Ensure guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of complete menu and products on hand.
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment.
  • Follow safety and sanitation policy and procedures at all times.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license may be required; must possess or able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required by state law.
