Key Responsibilities- Verify patient insurance eligibility and service limits prior to appointments
- Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
- Greet parents and patients, checking them in and out efficiently and professionally
- Ensure parents who are waiting are kept informed of the progress of their appointment or child
- Maintain a clean and tidy waiting area and front desk area, reflecting positively on our practice
- Coordinate with Ortho Financial Coordinator and Doctors to provide same-day care to patients
- Assist with meeting Ortho financial targets by ensuring schedules are full and follow-up appointments are scheduled
- Answer incoming Ortho patient calls, assisting with needs or directing to another team member for help
- Ensure Ortho patients are compliant with appointments and send necessary communication
- Participate in local community affairs and events, promoting a positive image of our practice
- Perform to the highest integrity, adhering to government regulations, company standards, and compliance programs
- At least one year of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare, retail, restaurant, or hospitality industry
- Willingness to travel in assigned territory
- High focus on customer service and satisfaction
- Compassion and high level of service for patients, parents, and staff
- Integrity, always doing the right thing
- Dependability and reliability to be at work when scheduled
- Attention to detail and ability to organize work, engage in multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines
