Job Overview:
This role is designated for a physician who is either ABIM certified or eligible.

Candidates lacking this certification or who have not completed an Internal Medicine residency will not be considered unless they are currently pursuing it.

As an Internal Medicine Physician at Avenues Clinic, you will join a nationally recognized healthcare system dedicated to our mission of promoting the healthiest lives possible.

Position Highlights:

In your capacity as a Physician specializing in Internal Medicine, you will collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals focused on delivering exceptional care and enhancing patient experiences.

At Avenues Internal Medicine, you will engage with a supportive team of providers who maintain strong working relationships and provide mutual coverage.

Your clinical expertise, combined with a collaborative spirit, will be essential in delivering outstanding care to our patients.

This position operates Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, requiring 32 patient-facing hours weekly, with one weekday allocated for meetings, administrative tasks, and note management.

Call responsibilities are shared among providers, allowing you to manage your own patients throughout the week and cover for colleagues on a rotating basis during weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic institution
  • Completion of US-based Residency training in Internal Medicine
  • Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
  • Active, unobstructed medical license in Utah, or the ability to obtain one
  • Successful completion of Intermountain Health's credentialing process
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification*Visa sponsorship may not be available for all candidates
