Position Overview:
This role is designated for a physician who is either ABIM certified or eligible.
Candidates lacking this certification or who have not completed a residency in Internal Medicine will not be considered unless they are actively pursuing these qualifications.
As an Internal Medicine Physician at Avenues Clinic, you will join a well-regarded health system committed to our mission of promoting optimal health for all.
Key Responsibilities:In your capacity as a Physician specializing in Internal Medicine, you will collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals focused on delivering high-quality care and an exceptional patient experience.
At Avenues Internal Medicine, you will be part of a cooperative team of providers who are familiar with each other, work harmoniously, and support one another daily.
Your clinical skills and team-oriented mindset will be essential in providing outstanding care to our patients.
Operating Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, you will manage 32 patient-facing hours weekly, with one weekday allocated for meetings, administrative tasks, and follow-ups.
Call responsibilities are shared among current providers, allowing you to care for your patients throughout the week and cover for colleagues on a rotating basis during weekends and holidays.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive compensation based on national survey data

- Continuing Medical Education (CME) time and stipend provided
- Generous Discretionary Time Off (40 days annually)

Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic institution
- Completion of US-based Residency training in Internal Medicine
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
- Active, unobstructed medical license in Utah, or the ability to obtain one
- Successful completion of Intermountain Health's credentialing process
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
