Job Summary

The Culinary Operations Director will be responsible for directing and administering all culinary operations in the hotel, ensuring outstanding guest service and financial profitability. This includes overseeing meal production, food quality and presentation, compliance with safety and sanitation standards, team member productivity and performance, implementation of policies and procedures, cost controls, and overall profitability.

Main Responsibilities
  • Culinary Operations Management: Direct and oversee all culinary operations, including meal production, food quality and presentation, compliance with safety and sanitation standards, team member productivity and performance.
  • Menu Development: Create and implement new menus and individual menu items for outlets based on current food trends and regional tastes in partnership with the Director of Food and Beverage.
  • Guest Interaction: Interact with guests and clients to monitor and assess satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues, and make improvements accordingly.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards.
  • Financial Acumen: Perform general management duties, including systems management, budget and forecasting, report generation, department management, meeting participation and facilitation, and monitor and develop team member performance.
Requirements

To be successful as a Culinary Operations Director, you should possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Food Service Management, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in culinary operations management, preferably in a hotel setting.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, clients, and team members.
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems creatively.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, FTK Hospitality LLC offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
