Position Overview:
The role entails leveraging advanced technical and analytical expertise within the Technology Research and Innovation team. This position collaborates with project teams to guarantee the technical integrity of cloud security deliverables while ensuring compliance with security standards, governance, and control practices. The individual will be recognized as a specialist in cloud security technologies, agile methodologies, architectural designs, systems implementation, and integration across cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops Cloud Security Architecture and aids in automating security measures for Cloud Proof of Concept environments (AWS and Azure).
  • Provides expert guidance in Cloud Security domains (End-point, application, network) with an emphasis on automating cloud security processes.
  • Possesses familiarity with CNAPP (Cloud Native Application Protection Platform) solutions and understands the workings of MDR solutions.
  • Has knowledge of Security Service Edge (SSE) and experience with Zscaler.
  • Advises project teams throughout system development to ensure adherence to security policies, guidelines, standards, and governance.
  • Contributes to the formulation of cloud security strategies, visions, requirements, and solutions for Development Experience.
  • Designs, develops, and implements innovative cloud security technologies as needed to support the Technology Research and Innovation team.
  • Collaborates with application development teams to ascertain cloud security requirements and facilitate the planning and delivery of automated cloud-based business solutions.
  • Establishes, publishes, and maintains processes for security governance, ensuring compliance with principles, guidelines, and standards.
  • Conducts technical research as necessary to aid in defining cloud security direction and strategy, while supporting team members on cloud security projects or security-related tasks in technical projects.

Required Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in cloud security architecture, development, design, and integration.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Experience with CNAPP and Zscaler is essential.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge and experience in cloud computing infrastructure, agile development, application development methodologies, best practices, and emerging services across various cloud provider environments, including AWS and Azure.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of cloud security technologies and architectural trends.
  • Exhibits advanced analytical and technical skills, both in breadth and depth.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong collaborative abilities.
