Clinical Nurse Specialist, Inpatient Care

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in our inpatient setting. You will work closely with other healthcare disciplines to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment: Conduct thorough multi-system assessments, identifying any deviations from normal lab results and reassessing patients as needed.
- Planning: Develop individualized nursing plans of care, coordinating with hospital departments and community agencies to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Implementation: Initiate evidence-based measures for managing medical and surgical patients, accurately documenting care in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Evaluation: Regularly evaluate assessment methods, plan of care, and patient response to treatment, making adjustments as necessary.
- At least 9 months of RN experience in an acute care setting.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Strong computer keyboarding skills.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
