Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all stages of the construction process from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Acquire all necessary permits and ensure compliance with regulations, particularly in safety matters.
  • In partnership with the Production Coordinator, procure all essential supplies, tools, and equipment as needed.
  • Ensure that all assigned projects adhere to the established plans.
  • Manage all assigned projects to ensure they remain on schedule, within budget, and meet specified standards.
  • Engage and supervise specialists, tradespeople, and subcontractors as necessary, overseeing their work quality.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, supervisors, and subcontractors to provide updates on project progress.
  • Develop and follow a budget, timeline, and quality control plan.
  • Utilize software applications to schedule, monitor progress, and document project developments.
  • Organize, lead, and participate in site meetings (preliminary, interim, and final) as required based on the project's scale and complexity.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, along with regulatory and safety requirements.
  • Operate vehicles and equipment safely and responsibly.
  • Keep the worksite clean and organized while striving for customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct a final walkthrough of the project production checklist to ensure client satisfaction and document any deficiencies before project completion.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in using popular construction project management software.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and construction personnel.
  • May collaborate with or supervise other site supervisors or assistants, depending on project scale.
  • Exceptional organizational, time-management, problem-solving, and budgeting skills.
  • Fluency in Spanish is preferred.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction science or management, engineering, architecture, business administration, project management, or equivalent roofing crew leadership experience.
  • Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10-Hour Outreach Training is beneficial, but can be sponsored by the company upon hiring.
  • A minimum of three years of construction experience, preferably with hands-on roofing experience.
