About the Role

PennState Health seeks a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to fill a key position in Enola, Pennsylvania. As a Registered Nurse Navigator, you will play a vital role in facilitating patient care throughout the healthcare system upon discharge disposition.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise and exceptional communication skills, ensuring seamless coordination of care with staff members. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying patient needs and recommending alternative locations of care when necessary.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical guidance to scheduling coordinators to ensure accurate patient information
  • Identify and recommend appropriate services or providers for referrals
  • Collaborate with staff to coordinate care transitions across the healthcare continuum

Requirements

  • Curently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact
  • AHA BLS certification required before the end of the orientation period
