Job Title: Retail Art Materials Sales Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Art Materials Sales Associate. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, selling art materials, and designing custom framing solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sell art materials, including paints, brushes, canvases, and other supplies, to customers.
  • Design and create custom framing solutions for customers, including selecting frames, mats, and other materials.
  • Receive and process customer payments, including cash, credit, and debit transactions.
  • Process special orders and transfers of requested items from other store locations.
  • Prepare and maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking shelves and displays.
  • Support inventory management by accurately labeling and counting inventory.
  • Assist customers with frame design and completed framed art pickups.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
Requirements
  • Possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of art materials and techniques.
  • Be able to multi-task and work independently.
  • Have basic arithmetic skills and be able to operate a cash register.
  • Be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in retail sales and customer service.
  • Knowledge of art materials and techniques.
  • Experience in framing and custom framing design.
