Job Summary:The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be the face of our brand and play a critical role in delivering a world-class customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Consistently demonstrate benchmark selling techniques for retail sales, custom clothing sales, and special occasion rentals.
- Encourage and participate in team selling to drive sales and achieve store metrics goals.
- Build relationships with customers from greeting to post-sale contact, ensuring a positive and personalized experience.
- Assist in receiving shipments, maintaining a clean and organized store, and visually merchandising products according to brand standards.
- Monitor store security, report any discrepancies, and participate in merchandise stock counts as requested.
- Bend down and squat to locate and pick up merchandise, bend down and crouch to mark pants for alterations, and climb a ladder to reach merchandise and supplies.
- Operate a computer and cash register, including manual tasks such as reaching across the counter to exchange monies with customers.
- Stand and walk for the majority of the work shift, sometimes as long as twelve hours per day, five or six days per week.
