Job Summary:

This Scheduling Specialist - Days position is responsible for providing exceptional patient care through efficient and effective scheduling of medical services at Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital. The successful candidate will coordinate with healthcare teams, patients, and families to schedule appointments and procedures while maintaining accurate EHR data.

Key Performance Indicators:
  • Meet scheduling targets and deadlines
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date EHR data
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Ensure seamless coordination between healthcare teams

The estimated annual salary for this role is $70,000 - $85,000, depending on experience.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two years of experience in a medical setting or call center environment preferred
  • Knowledge of EHR systems and medical terminology an asset
