Job Title: Mixer I

We are seeking a skilled Mixer I to join our production team at Litehouse Foods. As a Mixer I, you will play a critical role in the performance of all mix systems, including spice, prep, and testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load ingredients into blender and utilize pumping and metering systems to produce detailed and complex high-value recipes.
  • Changeover/Wash out machinery between jobs, adhering to strict allergen guidelines and detailed wash requirements.
  • Maintain a clean work area and participate in housekeeping throughout the facility and grounds.
  • Utilize data collection systems to maintain inventory accuracy and traceability, utilizing a scanner to use oldest ingredients first (FIFO).
  • Requisition supplies and maintain production records, ensuring correct entries into factory software.
  • Adhere to Food Safety policies and report food safety and quality concerns to your supervisor.
  • Frequently work overtime and weekends as necessary.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED strongly preferred.
  • 0-3 years of experience.
  • Ability to use computer-based batch automation technology.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, focused, and autonomous.
  • Frequently lift up to 55 lbs. independently.
