About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cancer Care Specialist to join our team at American Medical Staffing. This is a travel nursing opportunity in Richmond, Virginia, where you will have the chance to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals and make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients.

Job Summary

This 12-hour shift position requires a Registered Nurse (RN) with Oncology experience. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team, and contributing to the achievement of positive patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional patient care, adhering to evidence-based practices and standards of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and prioritize interventions.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and interactions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A current RN license in the state of employment.
  • At least 1 year of Oncology experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
