Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Gynecologic Oncology Specialist to join our team at VCU Health in Richmond, VA. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented healthcare professional to provide exceptional care to patients with gynecologic cancers.

About the Position

This full-time position will involve providing comprehensive care to patients with gynecologic cancers, including surgery, chemotherapy, and outpatient management. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our experienced team of oncologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide surgical and non-surgical treatment options for patients with gynecologic cancers
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
  • Conduct regular follow-up appointments and communicate effectively with patients and their families
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an ABOG-accredited fellowship program in Gynecologic Oncology or equivalent experience
  • Board certification in Gynecologic Oncology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG)
  • Medical licensure in the state of Virginia
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency program
  • Certification in basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS)
