Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Engineer to join our team at the Department of Design & Construction, Division of Infrastructure. As a Junior Engineer, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and work on a variety of engineering projects, including research studies, engineering investigations, and examinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in moderate to difficult engineering work, including research studies, engineering investigations, and examinations
  • Perform civil engineering work of moderate difficulty under the direction of an Engineer-in-Charge
  • Work in one or more of the following specialized engineering areas: design, drafting, engineering investigations, estimating, specifications, structural computations, field surveys, and design-related site inspections
Requirements
  • A baccalaureate degree in civil engineering from an accredited college
  • Authorization to work in the United States is required for this position
  • NYC Department of Design and Construction does not provide sponsorship for international employees
