Job Summary:

Highmark Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures. Your attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and commitment to patient care will make you an invaluable asset to our team.

Responsibilities:

Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures, maintaining a safe and sterile environment. Prepare and maintain surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies. Monitor and maintain accurate records of surgical procedures, including patient information and surgical site details. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.

Requirements:

Minimum one year certificate from a college or technical school, or three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Nationally recognized surgical technologist certification required within 6 months of completion of Surgical Technologist program. CPR – American Heart Association. Preferred 1-3 years of Surgical Technologist experience.
