Psychiatric Technician: Per Diem, Various, Eastwood Unit

Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Technician to join our team. As a Psychiatric Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals with mental illness and developmental delays.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a safe and secure environment for individuals served and staff in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assist individuals with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Participate in safety management, crisis intervention, and prevention.
- Document progress notes, medication administration, and other relevant information.
- Monitor for and report any potential risks to individuals' safety.
- Perform basic office duties, including answering phones, filing, and using Microsoft Word.
- Assist in training new staff members.
- Completion of a minimum of six months post-high school education in behavioral sciences or equivalent.
- CNA certification or one to two years of college education is preferred.
