Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Bryan Plaza Family Medicine. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the medical needs of our patients.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting physicians with examinations and procedures, coordinating patient flow, and providing professional nursing care as prescribed by the physician. You will work closely with our medical providers to ensure quality patient care and customer service goals are met.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain a professional, confidential, and caring manner when interacting with patients.
  • Coordinate patient flow to avoid delays and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Collect and document subjective and objective data to contribute to patient assessment.
  • Make accurate and timely observations and document changes in patient condition.
  • Respond to calls and messages from patients, pharmacies, hospitals, and other medical offices in a timely manner.
  • Assist medical providers with examinations and procedures.
  • Keep exam rooms clean, disinfected, and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Schedule follow-up procedures and appointments.
  • Explain tests and preparation as needed for patient education.
  • Monitor inventory of supplies and communicate information to Office Manager.
  • Administer injections, vital signs, vision, and auditory testing as delegated.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Maintaining clinical competency as required for Registered Nurse licensure.
  • Knowledge of nursing and clinical systems.
  • Familiarity with federal and state regulations related to nursing practice, OSHA, and HIPAA requirements.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware equipment and software applications relevant to work functions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work as a team member.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Salary and Benefits

Our competitive salary for this role is $65,000 per annum, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
