At Amedisys, we are seeking a highly skilled Hospice Sales Liaison to join our team in the healthcare industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced professionals looking to make a meaningful impact and grow their careers.

About the Role

We are searching for a dedicated individual who will be responsible for educating health care professionals, patients, and families about home care services. The ideal candidate will have experience in outside sales/business development in the healthcare industry and a strong background in cold calling customers in pharmaceuticals, medical device sales, hospital, home health, hospice or long-term care.

This role involves developing and maintaining relationships with key referral sources, such as hospitals, nursing homes and physician offices to generate leads. Additionally, you will coordinate patient admissions with the team, including obtaining all required documentation to complete the referral to admission process.

Responsibilities
  • Educate health care professionals, patients, and families about home care services.

  • Conduct on-site visits to assess patient needs and identify barriers to care.
  • Keep accurate records of patient interactions and referrals.
  • Achieve admissions, product, and payor-mix goals.
  • Meet short and long-term target account goals.
  • Document the minimum expectation of sales calls daily in CRM (including pre and post call notes).
  • Maintain a complete, up-to-date record of targeted referral sources in territory in CRM.
  • Attend community events to promote Amedisys.
  • Respond to customer complaints in a timely manner.
About You

We are looking for an individual with at least one year of experience in a healthcare-related business development/outreach role. A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required. Reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and liability insurance are also essential.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary between $71,000 and $80,000 based on experience, plus eligible monthly incentives. Additional benefits include a full benefits package with choice of affordable PPO or HSA medical plans, paid time off, up to $1,300 in free healthcare services paid by Amedisys yearly, up to $500 in wellness rewards, mental health support, 401(k) with a company match, family support, and more.

Location

This role will involve traveling 50% or more within the assigned territory, covering Knox, Anderson, Blount, Sevier, Morgan, Cumberland, Campbell, Scott, Fentress counties.
