Archer Hotel Napa is in search of a dynamic and customer-oriented hospitality professional to assume the role of Front Desk Supervisor. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities and possess outstanding communication and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests before their arrival and throughout their stay.
- Maximize suite revenue and occupancy while managing all reservation and inquiry calls during the shift.
- Assist the Front Office Manager and Assistant Front Office Manager in training and supervising team members.
- Develop superior service skills in interactions with clients, guests, and colleagues.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Preferred experience in hotel management or a related field.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or related fields is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license is necessary.
- Fluency in English is required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be able to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently.
- Capability to stand for the entire duration of the shift.
Mental Requirements:
- Maintain composure and objectivity in high-pressure situations.
- Effectively handle workplace problems, including anticipation, prevention, identification, and resolution.
- Convey information and ideas clearly and effectively.
- Evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
- Listen to, understand, clarify, and resolve concerns raised by clients, guests, and coworkers.
- Assimilate complex information and data from various sources to meet specific needs.
- Work with and understand financial information and basic arithmetic functions.
Availability:
This position requires open availability, which may include working weekends and holidays.
