The dietitian will engage in collaborative treatment planning for all patients and deliver nutritional education to patients, families, and healthcare staff. Our scheduling is highly adaptable, allowing for flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluating the health and nutritional requirements of patients
- Creating tailored nutritional plans for patients
- Advising patients on nutrition and healthy eating practices
- Monitoring and assessing the outcomes of nutritional interventions, making modifications as needed
- Designing specialized meal plans for patients with unique dietary needs
- Documenting plans and tracking patient progress towards health objectives
- Reviewing meals for adherence to prescribed diets and standards of taste
- Assisting food service managers with sanitation, safety protocols, and menu creation
- Formulating policies to facilitate the implementation of food service or nutrition programs
Essential Competencies
- Proficient dietary knowledge and skills
- Strong analytical abilities to apply nutritional science
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Technical proficiency in relevant software, glucose meters, and calorimeters
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (4 years)
- State Licensure as a Dietitian
- Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
