Job Summary:

The MMI Hotel Group is seeking a skilled Night Auditor to join our team at The Memphian Hotel. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for verifying and balancing financial transactions reported by various hotel departments during the day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and balance financial transactions, including cash receipts and summary sheets
  • Reconcile accounts receivable and ensure accuracy of charges posted to guest folios
  • Assist with front desk duties, including welcoming guests and assisting with their needs
  • Oversee Front Office operations as Manager on Duty when the Front Office Manager is not present

Requirements:

  • Background in general business, accounting, or vocational office training
  • At least three months of experience working as a bookkeeper, auditor, or in general accounting
  • Understanding of accounting basics, including reconciling accounts receivable and ensuring accuracy of charges posted to guest folios
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
