Software Solutions Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
The Software Solutions Engineer plays a pivotal role in crafting and delivering innovative technical solutions for Mobile and Web Applications, as well as Application integrations and Back-end processes.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, documenting, and testing software to ensure it aligns with user requirements and fulfills business objectives. You will also provide technical expertise to development teams and oversee the technical components of various projects.
Core Duties:
- Design and develop web-based forms utilizing Docuphase Frevo and web programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Java, HTML) to comply with established business and legal standards for child care enrollment.
- Create and maintain integrations between web applications using APIs or SQL-to-SQL processes for data submission into administrative systems.
- Manage in-house infrastructure for forms management, including software updates, SSL certificate maintenance, and collaborating with the SysAdmin team to configure and resolve issues related to single sign-on and ADFS.
- Collaborate with IT analysts, quality engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to achieve business goals.
- Provide guidance to team members and business partners on technical considerations, implementation challenges, and security issues that may affect the development of required forms.
- Partner with Quality Engineers to ensure thorough testing of forms prior to deployment.
- Evaluate, estimate, and deliver user stories and bugs within set deadlines.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is mandatory.
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years in application development within a dynamic business environment is essential.
At least 3 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing business solutions from inception to production is required.
Alternatively, a minimum of 3 additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the degree.
Additional Requirements:
- Experience with forms development software for creating or enhancing web-based forms (e.g., Docuphase/Frevo, Microsoft Forms, Google Forms, PowerApps).
- Proficiency in web development languages (e.g., JavaScript, Java, HTML).
- Experience in building and maintaining integrations between web applications using APIs or SQL-to-SQL processes.
- Understanding of information systems, infrastructure, and operational systems in a corporate setting (e.g., ADFS, Azure, SecureAuth Single Sign-On).
- Knowledge of system design with standard security protocols and familiarity with common vulnerabilities and prevention strategies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Interpersonal skills necessary for managing relationships with internal clients.
- Familiarity with best practices in IT governance and application delivery.
