The Client Relations Specialist at NAPAA is tasked with nurturing and enhancing profitable connections with clients while expanding the business portfolio through new client acquisitions. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, assess, and cultivate insurance opportunities with both new and existing clients through various communication channels including in-person meetings, online interactions, phone calls, and written correspondence.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with clients and prospects through consistent follow-ups, precise and timely quotations, and comprehensive account support. Anticipate, address, and follow up on all client needs.
- Engage in proactive networking and strategizing for new clients and business prospects.
- Track, analyze, and report on critical metrics to ensure sales objectives are met, while maintaining timely and professional documentation of sales activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues, mentor junior staff, provide insights and respond to inquiries, and participate in both formal and informal meetings as necessary.
- Assist and prepare clients for renewals and retention efforts, ensuring robust client relationships are upheld.
- Stay updated with continuing education and industry developments, including new product information, regulations, coverages, and technological advancements to enhance knowledge and performance.
- Review client audits, confirm and facilitate necessary corrections, and manage accounts receivable and billing processes.
- Possess the insurance license mandated by your state and have a minimum of two years of experience in personal and commercial lines insurance account management, or equivalent professional experience.
- Hold a valid driver's license and/or have access to reliable transportation.
- Exhibit strong knowledge of insurance products, rating and underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively secure new business and maintain the existing client base.
- Demonstrate a proven history of success in business-to-business sales. Exhibit strong presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills with the capability to close sales effectively.
- Be client-oriented, focused on customer satisfaction, and assertive in developing new client relationships while servicing current clients.
- Possess exceptional organizational skills with the ability to complete complex tasks independently, sound business judgment, strong decision-making capabilities, and superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Exhibit excellent time management skills, thrive in a collaborative environment, and demonstrate proficiency in technology and computer systems, including agency management software.
