Job Summary:

We are seeking a Business Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a Business Compliance Specialist, you will assist in compliance projects, ensuring that our company's operations align with established policies. You will also implement changes resulting from compliance audits and perform other accounting, compliance, audit, and finance work under the direction of the Business Compliance group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test business operations against control requirements, including SOX testing.
  • Assist with System Access Reviews to mitigate risks in company systems.
  • Perform audits of Lennox retail stores, including potential travel opportunities.
  • Perform audits of inventory for accurate inventory controls, including potential travel opportunities.
  • Assist other parts of the business in implementing new processes or controls, guided by the Business Compliance group.
  • Perform other accounting, compliance, audit, or finance projects as directed.

Requirements:

  • College/University student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance/Accounting or a related business degree, with a minimum GPA of 3.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be well organized and detail-oriented with good analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to quickly learn and contribute to new projects and use new technologies.
  • Ability to work in the office at our Richardson HQ 4 days/week, with the option to work from home on Fridays.
