Join Our Team as a Bankruptcy and Restructuring Associate

Burr & Forman LLP is seeking a talented and motivated associate to join its bankruptcy and restructuring practice in Wilmington, DE. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with experienced attorneys to provide exceptional client service and support in complex bankruptcy and restructuring matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and review of bankruptcy and restructuring documents, including petitions, plans, and disclosure statements.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support client matters, including corporate bankruptcy, creditors' rights, and litigation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement strategies for client matters, including debt collection and bankruptcy.
  • Provide exceptional client service, including communication and support to clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Delaware Bar or willingness to take the Delaware Bar Exam.
  • 1-3 years of experience in bankruptcy and restructuring, preferably in a law firm or corporate setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
