Job Overview

Juno Search Partners is representing a distinguished law firm located in Delaware that boasts a comprehensive business practice. They are in search of a skilled Associate to enhance their Bankruptcy division. This team is expanding, and the firm is committed to investing in its bankruptcy practice as a key strategic initiative. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of experience in bankruptcy law, offering a fantastic opportunity to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft legal documents including complaints, answers, discovery requests, motions, and briefs.
  • Engage in trial preparation, which encompasses formulating arguments, conducting hearings, and preparing witnesses along with trial exhibits.
  • Manage a distinctive Chapter 11 caseload that includes both lead and Delaware counsel roles across a diverse range of clients and industries.
  • Handle compelling assignments from sophisticated clients and co-counsel that are both professionally challenging and rewarding.

Required Qualifications:

  • Three to five years of experience in Chapter 11 bankruptcy, financial reorganizations, and/or creditors' rights.
  • Previous experience in a bankruptcy clerkship is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with complex corporate restructuring is preferred.
  • Strong writing abilities are essential for drafting legal documents.
  • Excellent research and oral communication skills are required.
  • Must be admitted to the Delaware Bar or willing to take the Delaware Bar examination.
