The Role

We're seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Manager to join our North America Talent team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in the success and expansion of our North America legal talent strategy during a pivotal time in our company's growth.

You'll have a high degree of autonomy and the opportunity to build a world-class team of legal talent with an amazing group of fun and talented people as we continue on our mission to become the world's largest provider of legal services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Execute against our North America Talent Acquisition strategy, including identification, assessment, and attraction of top-tier legal talent through traditional and creative recruitment channels.
  2. Serve as the primary point of contact for lawyer and legal professional candidates; manage individuals through full cycle recruiting while ensuring a positive, informative, and efficient candidate experience.
  3. Assist others on the team to advise key company stakeholders and leaders across North America on industry talent trends, candidate pipeline updates, and recruitment activity levels.
  4. Assist the leaders of the function to develop customized and strategic recruitment plans to attract lawyers and legal support professionals to work with our highly innovative and impressive list of clients.
  5. Build and maintain a robust network of legal talent and consistently act as a strong promoter of our brand. Stay current on recruiting issues and trends in the legal industry to inform ongoing recruitment strategy.
  6. Work to support building out our employer branding strategy, serving as a promoter of the Axiom culture and value proposition.
  7. Build and maintain a robust candidate network
Requirements

Successful candidates must be a fit for both the role as well as a fit within Axiom's unique operating environment and culture.

Here are the required skills, knowledge, capabilities, and education for this particular role:

  • 7+ years of professional recruiting experience or 7+ years of legal experience or experience within the legal sector
  • Highly persuasive verbal communication skills, and excellent written communication skills
  • Poise, confidence, and maturity to interact and build relationships with candidates; strong interpersonal skills are essential
  • Innate ability to build relationships with sophisticated candidates as well as internal stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and a tremendous amount of initiative, multi-tasking, and organizational abilities
  • Superb time management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Genuine interest in the Axiom model and our place in the changing legal landscape
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited school
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
What We Offer

Axiom's total rewards philosophy is to be transparent and equitable with all job candidates. The annual base salary range for this role based in Chicago is $89,000-$100,000.

You will also be eligible to participate in our Quarterly Bonus Plan which on target would be 30% of your base salary for a Senior Manager level role in our Talent Recruitment business unit.
