Postdoctoral Researcher in Hematology-Oncology

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the University of California - Los Angeles (UCLA) in the Division of Hematology-Oncology, Department of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects focused on developing new targeted therapies for breast and pancreatic cancer, studying dysregulated myelopoiesis in breast cancer, and working independently on research projects designed together with mentors.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement research techniques such as cell and molecular biology, including flow cytometry, cell proliferation, apoptosis, Western blot assays, etc.
- Conduct experiments and collect data to support research projects
- Document research results and write reports of results for presentation and/or publication in professional journals
- Assist in maintaining the functionality and operations of the Principal Investigator's laboratory
- Work as part of a team and follow all safety rules while on the job
- An M.D. or Ph.D. is required
- No prior experience as a Post-Doctoral Scholar is required
