Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner to join our team at The Oncology Institute. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with our multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the development of our cancer care services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and coordinate with our healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Collaborate with our medical staff to develop and implement treatment plans, and participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards to discuss patient cases.
- Conduct thorough patient education, address concerns, and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures, and engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in hematology/oncology care.
- Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Hematology/Oncology.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of California.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in hematology/oncology nursing, preferably in an academic or research setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A competitive salary range of $120,000 - $140,000 per year.
