About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Unit on a full-time night shift schedule. As a Medical Surgical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing safe and compassionate care to our patients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, identifying psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and population-specific needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, integrating direct and indirect patient care activities.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting empowerment and self-management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the advancement of patient care and nursing practice.
Requirements
  • Current NV nursing license
  • Current BLS certificate
  • ACLS certificate
  • One year full-time or three years part-time experience in an acute care setting preferred
