Job Title: Senior Regional Construction Scheduler

The Tsui Group is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Regional Construction Scheduler to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating construction schedules, ensuring timely completion of projects, and maintaining strong relationships with project teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate construction schedules, including developing and maintaining program schedules, identifying relationships, logic, milestones, and constraints.
  • Supervise project schedulers, ensuring project timelines are met, and interface with OARs, Senior Project Managers, and other site staff and contractors.
  • Develop and maintain program schedules, identifying relationships, logic, milestones, and constraints for construction projects of various types.
  • Independently interpret and read detailed construction drawings, developing a clear understanding of work scope.
  • Review contractor's baseline schedule submissions, verifying that all work scope is identified properly and logically sequenced correctly.
  • Perform QA/QC on contractor schedule submittals for conformance with contract terms, reviewing critical path, cost loading, resource loading of man-hours, schedule content, recovery schedules, use of logic relationships and lags, constraints, and milestones.
  • Perform schedule Time Impact Analysis for any change orders that affect the construction schedule, conducting schedule negotiations with the OAR and the contractor for any delay time settlements.
  • Read drawings to determine if work is in or out of scope, and understand terms and conditions of the contract to determine if any compensable or non-compensable time extensions have merit.
  • Perform Critical Path analysis and Earned Value analysis.
  • Walk the construction sites as needed, checking the contractor's weekly/monthly schedule progress, and provide reports to the project OAR and upper management.
  • Effectively communicate with the Contractor regarding all schedule/progress related matters and concerns in the weekly status meetings and all other schedule-related meetings.
  • Perform Program Schedule QA/QC reviews on a regular basis.
  • Perform status updates for Program Schedules/Master Schedules on a bi-monthly basis.
  • Prepare reports as needed and directed by Management.
Requirements:
  • Minimum eight (8) years full-time paid professional experience in Construction Scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor, preferably in an educational facility or public works projects.
  • Proficiency in Primavera Latest Version and MS Office Suite.
