The Industrial Electrician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and installing electrical systems, equipment, and components to support safe and efficient operations at the cement manufacturing plant.

The role focuses on ensuring electrical systems, from low to high voltage, are operating within safety standards and production demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation, routine maintenance, and preventive electrical maintenance on industrial equipment, including motor controls, PLCs, gauges, transmitters, and automation systems.
  • Work from blueprints and electrical drawings, including ladder diagrams and wiring diagrams, as well as one-line drawings and diagrams.
  • Dismantle, inspect, repair, replace, or adjust faulty parts and wiring on electrical equipment, such as motors, generators, air compressors, relays, and controls, switches, circuit breakers, transformers, hydraulic, magnetic, and pneumatic equipment, panel boards, batteries, and starters.

Requirements:

  • Power distribution experience or understanding.
  • Competence in troubleshooting and maintaining PLC systems and digital drives.
  • Must have experience and proficiency in industrial electrical and instrument maintenance, including application of electrical principles.
  • Must be able to become proficient with a working knowledge of the National Electric Code and experience and proficiency working with AC single-phase and three-phase systems (4160V, 480V, and 120V).

Compensation:

$35.33/hr
