Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Professional II to join our team at the Department of Mental Health-MHC Greater Greenville. This is a full-time position that requires a master's degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences, or a related field, and at least 3 years of experience in a clinical counseling setting.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provides emergency assessments of clients experiencing crisis and conducts face-to-face consultations as needed.
  • Formulates level of care and disposition, educates clients on community resources, and makes arrangements for immediate disposition.
  • Oversees daily operations of the GGMHC Mobile Crisis Team, including scheduling and oversight of after-hours coverage.
  • Provides supervision to mental health professionals on the Mobile Crisis Team.
  • Participates in weekly Assessment/Community Response staff meetings, individual supervision, and daily treatment staffing.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a clinical counseling setting.
  • Valid driver's license.
