Key Responsibilities
  1. Address and resolve maintenance requests from residents, ensuring timely and effective repairs while adhering to safety standards and company policies.
  2. Prepare vacant apartments for new residents by conducting inspections, creating maintenance task lists, and coordinating with vendors as necessary.
  3. Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for ongoing maintenance tasks.
  4. Document all service requests and maintenance activities accurately to maintain clear records.
  5. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of common areas and amenities, including landscaping and general upkeep.
  6. Contribute to cost-saving initiatives by repairing rather than replacing components whenever feasible.
Additional Duties
  • Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Inspect work performed by external contractors to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Work Environment

This position requires working both indoors and outdoors across various areas of the property, including amenities. The role involves physical activities such as standing, walking, and lifting, and may require working in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications
  • Must possess relevant certifications for refrigerant recycling and any other state or local requirements.
  • A valid driver's license is required for operating maintenance vehicles.
  • Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools, along with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with residents and team members.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
