About the Role

Lakeshore Bone & Joint Institute is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our orthopedic services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures from defined protocols, utilizing your knowledge of x-ray procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with physicians to deliver accurate diagnostic information, utilizing your knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including maintaining examination rooms, stocking medical supplies, and escorting patients.
Requirements
  • Certification as a radiologic technologist.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for patient care and a fun, team-oriented attitude.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in X-ray, or willingness to consider a new graduate.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, and graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
Work Environment

This role is performed in a clinical environment, with frequent exposure to radiation and interaction with patients, physicians, and other healthcare personnel. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
