Position Overview:
The role of the Radiologic Technology Clinical Coordinator is essential in ensuring the success of the program at GeorgiaGov. This full-time position involves collaborating closely with the Program Director to uphold the standards of our accredited curriculum. The coordinator will engage in various responsibilities, including delivering classroom instruction, overseeing laboratory activities, and facilitating clinical training for students.
Core Responsibilities:
- Align clinical education with theoretical coursework in accordance with JRCERT Standards.
- Evaluate student clinical performance and competencies based on ARRT criteria.
- Travel to multiple clinical sites as required.
- Execute additional duties as assigned by the Program Director.
Qualifications:
- A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution is required.
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography is mandatory.
- A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a registered radiographer is necessary.
- At least one year of teaching experience in a JRCERT-accredited program is preferred.
- Experience in curriculum development, supervision, and academic advising is essential.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in computer applications are required.
Preferred Experience:
Having three or more years of clinical experience in Radiologic Technology is advantageous.
