Radiologic Technology Clinical Coordinator Position

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Ogeechee Technical College is seeking a Full Time Radiologic Technology Clinical Coordinator to support the Program Director in the execution of the program standards of an accredited program of study to include classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction, identifying appropriate resources and teaching methods, and evaluating students' progress in attaining goals and objectives.
Major Duties:
- Correlation of clinical education with didactic education in accordance with JRCERT Standards of Accreditation with ongoing evaluation of its effectiveness to ensure that all clinical activities are educationally valid.
- Evaluation of student clinical performance, progress, and procedural competencies as required by the ARRT examination eligibility criteria.
- Travel to clinical sites is required.
- Other Duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree and Two Years of Experience:
- Baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution and current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography.
- Must have a minimum of two years of clinical experience as a registered radiographer.
- Must have a minimum of one year of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited program.
- Proficient in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising.
- Must have strong communication skills and basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Three or more years of clinical experience in Radiologic Technology.
