Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the general ledger by accurately recording daily financial transactions, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of bank statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring prompt payments and collections.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in formulating annual budgets and financial forecasts, analyzing discrepancies between actual and projected figures.
- Support the preparation of tax returns and ensure adherence to local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Compile supporting documentation and assist in both internal and external audits.
- Monitor departmental expenditures, ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints.
- Track and manage the company's fixed assets, ensuring accurate capitalization, depreciation, and disposal.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements within the accounting department and assist in implementing new procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all financial and accounting regulations, including GAAP, SOX, and other relevant standards.
- Engage in special projects as required, including financial analysis, system implementation, and cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret financial data and trends.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and account reconciliation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong sense of integrity and ethics in handling sensitive financial information.
