About the Role:

DispatchHealth Management is seeking a highly skilled Medical Technician to join our team. As a Medical Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our mobile healthcare delivery system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work under the supervision of licensed Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants to provide patient care and support.
  • Conduct patient assessments and monitoring, including vital signs.
  • Perform IV starts and blood draws, as permitted by state law.
  • Apply splints and provide wound care.
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain point-of-care laboratory equipment.
  • Perform EKGs and assist with documentation.
  • Support the daily functions of a mobile care delivery emergency unit.
  • Assist with supply and stocking.

Requirements:

  • Medical Technician with IV Certification and Basic Certification with CO, EMT License (hiring credential only).
  • Candidates with a bachelor's degree in a core science or lab science and a minimum of 2 years' experience in chemistry and hematology, especially with experience using an i-STAT device, are encouraged to apply.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • BLS, American Heart Association.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
