Research Focus

We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in head and neck cancers, gastrointestinal cancers, and leukemia. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead a research team and contribute to our ongoing efforts to improve cancer treatment and patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a research team in the Division of Hematology and Oncology
  • Design and interpret experiments to advance cancer research
  • Train and mentor trainees, including research associates, undergraduate and graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows
  • Seek extramural funding through grants and research contracts
Requirements
  • PhD and/or MD degree
  • Postdoctoral experience with a record of funding and a scholarly record to support an independent research program
  • Interest in associate or full professor faculty rank requires evidence of peer-reviewed funding
