Research Associate in Cancer Biology

The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine is seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to join the Department of Cancer Biology. As a key member of our team, you will assist with the coordination of laboratory projects and perform independent research studies in investigating the molecular mechanism of breast cancer treatment resistance and the development of RNA nanotherapeutics.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research and work with a talented team of scientists. The successful candidate will have a strong background in a related field and excellent laboratory skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the coordination of research studies, perform experiments, and record data according to research protocols and in accordance with all institutional and federal regulations.
- Make independent contributions to projects and studies based on professional training or functional experience.
- Interpret data and perform statistical and graphical analysis of data, prepare written summaries of research results in manuscript form for publications/presentations, and assist in grant proposal writings.
- Engage in appropriate training and professional development opportunities and play an active role in seeking career and research advice.
- Perform related duties based on departmental needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required in a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of specialized field, process or discipline.
- May require experience with specialized software programs.
