Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Infusion Level II

University of Miami is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as an Infusion Level II. This is a part-time position that requires a strong background in oncology nursing and experience in administering chemotherapy and biotherapy agents.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer standard chemotherapy, research study agents, biotherapy agents, and non-chemotherapy medications.
  • Monitor therapeutic responses and side effects, and obtain pharmacokinetic blood samples and other laboratory specimens as required by each protocol.
  • Assist in maintenance of up-to-date protocol information in clinical areas.
  • Document in a concise, accurate, and legible manner according to clinical practice standards.
  • Support patients and their families during trial treatment, educating them about their treatment and protocol requirements.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred.
  • Oncology Nurse Society Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Administration Guidelines provider course required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of oncology nursing experience, including recent experience in administering chemotherapy and biotherapy agents.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, nursing care methods and procedures, and health and safety guidelines and procedures.
