About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team at Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgical teams during operations and procedures by preparing and maintaining sterile equipment and supplies.
  • Provide support in preparing the surgical suite, moving patients, and cleaning the area.
  • Assist in exposure, homeostasis, and other technical functions to ensure safe and successful operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the surgical team.
Requirements
  • Current National Certification as a surgical technologist or equivalent experience.
  • Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited program in surgical technology or equivalent training.
  • Successful completion of the NBSTSA certifying exam or equivalent experience.
  • Grandfathered under TN Code Ann. (a) or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BLS certification within 14 days of hire date.
  • Computer literacy.
  • 15 hours of continuing education annually.
