We are seeking a highly skilled Irrigation Systems Technician to join our team at Greenstar Irrigation Company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and upgrading existing irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and diagnose irrigation system issues to identify and resolve problems.
- Perform wet checks, reset timers, and ensure irrigation systems are functioning properly.
- Install and replace irrigation system components, including pumps, timers, valves, and heads.
- Understand and apply basic pipe sizing and irrigation design principles.
- Replace and rebuild valves and manifolds as needed.
- Add new irrigation systems to existing infrastructure.
- Work in a variety of weather conditions and physically demanding outdoor environments.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless project execution.
- Minimum of 2 years of documented experience in the irrigation industry.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- English language proficiency (bilingualism a plus).
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
